We're Pregnant....and it's a Girl!

So Rob and I have finally decided to get off our rear ends and start a blog that we have been talking about doing now for months.

We have just gotten back from our 2nd ultrasound and the doctor has told us we are having a girl. Rob immediately went into shock with costs of college and weddings dancing through his head. All I could think about is peeing again after being poked and proded trying to get the baby to move enough to realize that it was a girl.

We are re-arranging rooms/painting/apparently I'm nesting. I can't seem to keep the house clean enough and wake up in the middle of the night and start organizing things that have been in disarray since we moved into the house 4 years ago.

The "cradle room" is connected to the master bedroom and will house Baby Girl Bartlett for 3-4 months in the Brumby Cradle. The Brumby Cradle that is being refinished in Goliad as we speak. Supposedly it will be done by March which gives us 1 week to get it to Kyle and set it up. Let's hope all stays on track. Then we are also moving computers and files out the study -- who really needs one these days with wireless internet - and that will be the nursery. Rob has a lot to finish on his never ending "honey-do" list.

A baby girl! Yay! Aren't the ultrasounds wild? In ours we were able to determine that Sam had Ben's feet. It's probably good that he ended up being a boy.
